Partners in Equity (PIE) is hosting its third networking event – the (almost) summer social

The Partners in Equity (PIE) Promoting a Diverse Workforce Subcommittee will host its third networking event for diverse employees of North Penn on Wednesday, May 27, 2009, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Northbridge School.  The Subcommittee consists of various members of our staff who have a shared interest in implementing strategies and approaches to help the district attract, recruit and retain a quality, diverse workforce.  The social events give all diverse, district employees an opportunity to meet one another and to engage in conversation.  These social gatherings are just one example of our goal as a district to improve internal communication and employee engagement amongst this population.  As a district, we want to recruit the best employees while making sure that our candidate pool is also diverse and talented.

If you did not receive an invitation to the May 27th event and would like to join us, please contact Jackie Richardson via email at richarj1@npenn.org or by phone at (215) 853-1005 by May 21, 2009.

PIE is co-chaired by Dr. Fran Cardamone, Manager of Human Resources and Betty Santoro, Principal of Gwyn-Nor Elementary School.
